The Illinois State Police Merit Board (ISPMB) originally came to Hanson to create a mobile website. After seeing what we designed for their mobile site, they decided to redesign the main website. They wanted to be able to update the content for their main website and mobile website in one location. We decided creating a responsive site using the concrete5 content management system (CMS) would be the best solution for them.

We did a full redesign on the website and implemented several new features for ISPMB. ISPMB can easily manage their announcements and enable/disable online applications. In addition, using concrete5’s in-context editing system, the Illinois State Police Merit Board can edit the content of any page on the main site and mobile site synchronously. Concrete5 also allows us to easily extend the core functionality to add custom features. By extending the core functionality, we were able to create custom forms for ISPMB. Once users are logged in, these forms will auto complete fields for them based off of information stored in their user profile. We also created a Results page for administrators to easily view the form submissions in their Dashboard.
